COMPREHENSIVE PRIVACY POLICY

1. Introduction and Scope

Academy for Martial and Intellectual Sciences and Arts, LLC ("AMISA," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy, confidentiality, and security of all personal information entrusted to us — especially the information of children.

This Privacy Policy explains how AMISA collects, uses, retains, shares, and protects information obtained through:

AMISA websites and digital platforms (including amisa.online, hosted on and operated through Wix.com, Inc.)
Enrollment, intake, and inquiry forms
The Learning Management System (LMS), currently under active development
The Wix Bookings platform, used by AMISA for class scheduling and attendance tracking
Memberships, subscriptions, and payment systems
On-site programs at European Fitness Center (2999 South Virginia Street, 2nd Floor Studio, Reno, NV 89502)
School-based programs including Dynamic Defense Club at Coral Academy and all future partner school locations
Physical curriculum materials including student workbooks and printed handouts distributed at class sessions
Communications with students, parents, guardians, schools, and partners

This Policy applies to all users: visitors, parents and guardians, students (including minors), school personnel, instructors, contractors, and organizational partners.

2. Relationship to Other Policies

This Privacy Policy operates in conjunction with AMISA's Terms of Service, Participant Waiver, program policies, plan policies, and other posted notices. Where permitted by law, this Policy is incorporated by reference into those agreements. In the event of a conflict between this Policy and any other AMISA policy, the more specific policy controls

3. Children's Privacy — COPPA Compliance

The protection of children's personal information is a primary obligation of AMISA. AMISA serves children in school-based enrichment programs and takes its responsibilities under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and related laws seriously.

3.1 COPPA — Children Under 13

AMISA does not operate online services directed to children under 13 for independent use. Our website, Wix Bookings system, and LMS are directed to parents and guardians, not to children directly. Accordingly:

AMISA does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 online without verifiable parental consent.
Enrollment information for children under 13 is collected through parents and guardians only.
If AMISA becomes aware that personal information has been collected from a child under 13 without proper parental consent, it will promptly delete that information.
Parents and guardians may request review, correction, or deletion of their child's personal information by contacting dynamicdefenseclub@gmail.com.

The Participant Waiver completed prior to enrollment serves as the verifiable parental consent mechanism for online data collection involving minor participants. Parents and guardians must complete a separate Participant Waiver for each enrolled student at amisa.online/participant-waiver.

3.2 COPPA — Children 13–17

For participants between ages 13 and 17, enrollment and account management is conducted through the parent or guardian. AMISA handles the personal information of all Minor participants with heightened care, limiting collection to what is necessary for program operation, safety, and administration.

AMISA does not issue email addresses to student participants of any age. All student accounts on amisa.online are created and managed by a parent or guardian using a parent or guardian email address as the account credential. Minor students do not independently create or control their own accounts. Each enrolled student should have their own individual account; parents enrolling multiple children must create a separate account for each child.

3.3 School-Based Programs and Children's Data

AMISA delivers school-based programs in partnership with schools. In that context, AMISA may receive student information (such as name, grade, and enrollment status) from school administration to facilitate program delivery. This information is handled as follows:

Used only for the purpose of delivering the contracted program
Not disclosed to third parties for commercial purposes
Not used for behavioral targeting, advertising profiling, or any purpose unrelated to program administration
Retained only as long as necessary to deliver the program and meet legal obligations
Handled in a manner consistent with applicable school privacy policies and partner agreements

4. Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)

AMISA acknowledges that partner schools are subject to FERPA, and that AMISA may, in the context of school-site program delivery, receive limited student information shared by schools under the "school official" exception or pursuant to written agreements. In such capacity, AMISA:

Acts solely as a service provider with a legitimate educational interest in the information
Does not use student education records for any purpose other than delivering contracted instructional services
Does not re-disclose student education records to third parties without school authorization or as required by law
Maintains the confidentiality of student records consistent with FERPA's requirements

Parents and eligible students retain rights over education records as provided under FERPA. Questions about student records held by a school should be directed to the school administration. Questions about information held directly by AMISA may be directed to dynamicdefenseclub@gmail.com.

5. Information We Collect

5.1 Information Provided Directly

AMISA collects information voluntarily submitted through enrollment, contact, or inquiry forms, including:

Names and contact details (email, phone, address) of parents/guardians and students
Student information: name, age, grade, school, rank and progression records
Emergency contact information
Medical, health, allergy, or accommodation information (when voluntarily provided)
Payment and billing information (processed through third-party payment processors)
Communications, inquiries, and form submissions
LMS content, assignments, and uploaded materials (when LMS is operational)
Parent or guardian email address used as the login credential for the student's individual member account on amisa.online — AMISA does not issue student email addresses
Class session booking records submitted through the Wix Bookings system when a parent or guardian books a student into a class session
Online quiz completion records and digital rank progression data associated with individual student accounts (when LMS quiz features become operational)

5.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you access AMISA digital platforms, we may automatically collect:

IP address and approximate geographic location
Device, browser, and operating system information
Pages viewed, interactions, and usage timestamps
Cookies and similar tracking technologies (subject to Wix.com platform settings)
Class attendance and check-in records generated automatically through the Wix Bookings platform when a student is checked into a class session by an instructor using the Wix Owner app or the Client Check-In app

5.3 Information from Third Parties

AMISA may receive information from:

Partner schools and district administration (for program enrollment and roster coordination)
Payment processors and financial institutions
Wix.com and integrated platform service providers
Wix Bookings platform data including class booking history, session attendance records, and check-in logs generated through AMISA's use of the Wix Bookings system
Background check or compliance vendors (where applicable for instructors)

AMISA is not responsible for the accuracy or privacy practices of third-party data sources.

6. How We Use Information

AMISA uses collected information only for legitimate operational purposes, including:

Program enrollment, administration, attendance tracking, and participation records
Student safety, supervision, and emergency response
Insurance verification and risk management
Instructional delivery, LMS functionality, and curriculum access
Rank progression tracking and evaluation
Billing, payments, refunds, and account management
Scheduling, communications, and program updates
Legal, regulatory, and contractual compliance
Internal recordkeeping and dispute resolution
Operating the Wix Bookings attendance and class scheduling system, including recording check-in status and generating attendance reports for program administration and school partner reporting
Distributing, issuing, and tracking physical curriculum materials including student workbooks and printed handouts

AMISA does not use personal information — including children's information — for advertising, behavioral profiling, or purposes incompatible with program administration.

7. Sharing and Disclosure of Information

AMISA does not sell personal information. AMISA does not sell, rent, or commercially disclose children's personal information under any circumstances. We share information only as necessary with:

Wix.com platform infrastructure — as the platform provider for amisa.online, Wix.com processes data at the infrastructure level including member account management, Wix Bookings attendance records, form submissions, and payment integration. This data processing is governed by Wix.com's platform Privacy Policy at wix.com/about/privacy. This is a platform-level data flow distinct from AMISA's intentional data sharing decisions.
Wix.com as an AMISA service vendor — for operational purposes including analytics, communications, and dashboard access used by AMISA to manage its programs
Payment processors and financial institutions
LMS and educational technology providers
Partner schools and school administrators (for program coordination and safety)
AMISA instructors, staff, and contractors with a need to know for program delivery
Emergency responders or medical providers (in emergencies)
Legal counsel, insurers, auditors, or regulatory authorities (when required)

All disclosures are limited to what is reasonably necessary for the stated purpose. Third parties who receive children's information in the context of school programs are required to use it solely for the contracted purpose.

8. Data Storage and Security

AMISA relies on Wix.com and integrated service providers for data hosting and storage. Data is stored using available administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No data transmission or storage system is completely secure. AMISA cannot guarantee absolute security and is not responsible for security failures outside its reasonable control, including those attributable to third-party platforms.

Student account data — including enrollment records, attendance history generated through Wix Bookings, and booking records — is stored within Wix.com's platform infrastructure. AMISA accesses this data through the Wix dashboard and reporting tools and does not maintain independent servers or databases separate from the Wix platform.

In the event of a data breach affecting children's personal information, AMISA will take prompt action to contain the breach and will notify affected parties as required by applicable law.

9. Data Retention

AMISA retains personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to:

Operate programs and maintain accurate records
Comply with legal, regulatory, and insurance obligations
Resolve disputes and enforce agreements

Information about children is retained for the minimum period required by law and operational necessity. Upon request, AMISA will delete personal information subject to applicable retention requirements and technical limitations.

Physical Curriculum Materials — including student workbooks and printed handouts distributed at class sessions — become the student's permanent personal record upon distribution. AMISA does not retain duplicate physical copies of materials issued to students. Instructor notes and digital attendance records, where they exist, are retained consistent with this Policy.

10. Access, Correction, and Deletion Requests

Parents and guardians may request:

Access to personal information AMISA holds about their child
Correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
Deletion of certain information, where legally and operationally feasible

Requests must be submitted in writing to dynamicdefenseclub@gmail.com. AMISA may require identity verification and may decline or limit requests where permitted by applicable law or operational necessity.

AMISA can provide records accessible through its Wix dashboard including enrollment data, attendance records, and account information. Requests for platform-level data held by Wix.com at the infrastructure level should be directed to Wix.com in accordance with their Privacy Policy at wix.com/about/privacy.

11. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

AMISA websites hosted on Wix.com may use cookies and similar technologies to enable site functionality, improve user experience, and analyze usage trends. You may manage cookie preferences through your browser settings or Wix-provided controls. Disabling cookies may limit certain website functionality. AMISA does not use cookies to collect personal information from children.

Wix.com, as the platform provider, may place its own cookies as part of operating the website infrastructure independently of AMISA's cookie settings. Parents can review Wix.com's cookie and tracking practices at wix.com/about/privacy.

12. Photography, Video, and Media

Participation in AMISA programs may involve photography or video recording for instructional, administrative, or promotional purposes. Use of media involving Minor participants is governed by the media release provisions in the Terms of Service (Section 21) and the Participant Waiver (Part 10).

Parents and guardians who wish to opt out of media capture for their child should check the Media Opt-Out checkbox on the Participant Waiver form (amisa.online/participant-waiver) prior to their child's first class session. If a waiver has already been submitted without selecting the opt-out, written notice may also be submitted to dynamicdefenseclub@gmail.com prior to the first class session. Opt-out requests received after the first class session may not apply retroactively to media already captured.

At school-based partner sites, school media policies take precedence and AMISA will comply with any school-directed restrictions on photography and video. Media files may be stored digitally and retained consistent with this Policy.

13. Third-Party Websites and Services

AMISA websites may contain links to third-party sites or services, including uniform vendors, mapping services, and other external resources. AMISA is not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or security of these third-party websites. Use of third-party services is subject to their own privacy policies.

14. Communications Consent

By providing contact information, you consent to receive communications from AMISA related to enrollment, scheduling, safety, program updates, and billing. You may opt out of non-essential marketing communications by notifying AMISA in writing. Operational and safety-related communications may still be sent regardless of marketing opt-out status.

All program communications are directed to the parent or guardian email address associated with the student's account. AMISA does not send direct operational communications to minor students.

15. Platform Provider: Wix.com, Inc.

This website is built on and operated through Wix.com, Inc., a third-party website platform provider. Wix.com is the platform infrastructure provider for amisa.online and provides the following services that power AMISA's digital operations:

Website hosting and content delivery
Member account creation, management, and authentication
Wix Bookings — the class scheduling and attendance tracking system used by AMISA to record student check-in, manage class rosters, and generate attendance reports
Payment processing integration
Form submission processing (including enrollment forms, the Participant Waiver, and contact forms)
Data storage and security infrastructure
Email and communications infrastructure

By accessing or using amisa.online, you acknowledge that data processed through these platform functions is handled by Wix.com in accordance with Wix.com's own Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. AMISA does not control Wix.com's independent platform-level data collection, storage, processing, or use of information that passes through its infrastructure.

16. Geographic Scope

AMISA operates in the United States, primarily in Reno, Nevada. This Policy is governed by U.S. law. If you access Services from outside the United States, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the United States.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

AMISA may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes become effective upon posting to amisa.online. Continued use of Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy. Material changes affecting how AMISA handles information about minor students will be communicated directly to parents and guardians of enrolled students, in addition to being posted on the site.

By using AMISA Services or submitting information on behalf of yourself or a Minor, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this Privacy Policy and consent to the collection, use, retention, and disclosure of information as described herein. Parents and guardians acknowledge their rights to access, correct, and request deletion of their child's personal information as described in Section 10. Parents and guardians enrolling minor students further acknowledge the provisions governing minor participant information set forth in Sections 3, 4, and 5 of this Policy.
